Supplementing your kiddos
I am all about making sure your kids are eating well and getting good nutrition from their food. However, I know that doing so is really hard, especially here in the Midwest! By the time the food hits our table, a lot of the nutrients have left our food.
To help supplement my boys’ diets, there are 3 main supplements I give them daily to help their bodies’ grow and develop into the strong superheroes they long to become!
A super multi - Dr. Mercola’s Chewable for kids
The formula for this multi is my favorite, including having 2,000ius of Vitamin D3! My boys LOVE these. It’s sweetened with stevia and xylitol, and the price I’ve found to be spot on also compared to other good multis
Fruits & Greens
This is a great cocktail to get fiber, antioxidants, superfoods, enzymes, probiotics and all things good for the gut. If there’s one supplement you could give your child to support their gut (especially if they’re a picky eater), do this!
Cod Liver Oil
I know, this doesn’t sound appealing. Not even a little bit. But, your child’s brain NEEDS healthy fats full of Omega 3s, and this is the bomb for providing that! The lemon flavor goes great in smoothies and 2/3 kids agree it tastes fine plain (unofficial research in our house). There’s another brand, Nutridyn, that has a tasty version more prefer if needed!
