Chiropractic Care

The complexity of the nervous system continues to prove itself beyond human understanding. The more we learn about it the more we don't understand. While that may seem disheartening, it is an incredibly good thing.

The greatest doctor in the world is your body. God created the nervous system to control and manage every single thing that happens in your body. From healing a paper cut to telling our heart to beat, your nervous system has it taken care of. Your nervous system is so complex because it coordinates so many moving parts in every single moment of every single day. Thank God for creating it so perfectly!

Though your nervous system is amazing at taking care of your body, it can get overwhelmed or stressed. The spinal column and skull protect the brain and spinal cord. The spinal column contains the outlets for the nerves. When your spine is not in proper alignment, it can cause irritation or interference in the communication between your brain and the rest of your body. That lack of communication or
mis-communication over time causes a dis-ease in your whole system. Getting your spine checked, whether you're feeling symptoms or not, can prevent further damage from a misaligned spine.

Torque Release Technique

Dr. Kirstin uses a highly researched and neurologically based technique called Torque Release Technique (TRT). TRT uses a method to determine where your body needs an adjustment the most. Being able to find the primary misalignment allows for your body to correct additional misalignments naturally. In addition to naturally 'unwinding' the spine and tension, the specificity allows Dr. Kirstin to administer the adjustment without high speed or force.

Dr. Kirstin has received advanced proficiency in Torque Release Technique.  Developed out of research, TRT combines seven different techniques that are part of the foundation of chiropractic which provide an incredible neurologically-based chiropractic adjustment.

Dr. Kirstin uses an instrument called the Integrator to adjust each patient which allows her to be very specific, precise and gentle with each adjustment that will get your body functioning better than it has in a long time.

Webster Technique

The Webster Technique is a gentle, pregnancy-specific chiropractic technique designed to support pelvic balance, nervous system function, and overall comfort throughout pregnancy. As a woman’s body changes to support a growing baby, increased stress on the pelvis, spine, and surrounding soft tissues is common. These changes can sometimes create tension or imbalance that affects how the body adapts during pregnancy.

By addressing areas of restriction in the pelvis and supporting proper nervous system communication, the Webster Technique helps the body function more efficiently during this season of rapid change. Care is precise and low-force, with no twisting, cracking, or forceful adjustments, making it a calm and comfortable experience for expectant mothers.

Many women seek Webster care to support greater comfort, improved mobility, and a sense of balance as their body prepares for birth. By encouraging optimal pelvic function and reducing unnecessary tension, this technique supports the body’s natural ability to adapt and respond throughout pregnancy.
