Postpartum
Also known as the 4th trimester, many mom’s get pushed to the wayside after their 6 week check up. That’s sometimes just the start of when mom (and baby) need support! Getting adjusted postpartum allows the mom’s physical structure to got back to normal properly, as well as allows Dr. K to help moms navigate all the changes/adjustments they experience.
Pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum season place extraordinary demands on a woman’s body and nervous system. From the physical shifts that occur as a baby grows, to the intensity of labor, and the ongoing adjustments that follow, each stage requires thoughtful support and time to adapt. Chiropractic care during pregnancy and beyond focuses on supporting the body’s ability to function, stabilize, and recover throughout these transitions. By addressing areas of tension, imbalance, and nervous system stress, care can help promote comfort during pregnancy, encourage smoother physical adaptation through birth, and support restoration in the postpartum period. Rather than viewing these seasons as isolated moments, prenatal and postpartum chiropractic care recognizes them as a continuous process, honoring the mother’s body as it changes, heals, and carries the ongoing demands of motherhood.
